About 6 months ago I bought this for my 5 year old granddaughter as an "in between" gift while we waited on a different online store to send the actual, more expensive gift and bigger gift. But, it turned out that she loved this little set so much that she still plays with, and takes very good care of it while the other gift is in a corner, hardly touched. I was very happy with the thick piece of wood that the doll is made of. However, the magnatism needs to be stronger to keep the hand held objects in place better. Also, the box should have a lid. Having a lid would sell many more. Lastly, not everyone celebrates Halloween, so that was almost a decision for me NOT to buy. I threw the witchy pieces and pirate hat/sword away. For the price, it's a cute set.
