It’s a pretty good coat

We bought two coats this year, one for a Malinois and one for a Newfoundland-poodle mix. They are decent coats and fit the girls pretty well it does a good job of keeping them dry when they go out in the snow so they don't have to get toweled dry when they come in. My only complaint is how sturdy they are or in this case aren't. My girls like to wrestle with each other so within days one of the coats has a hole in it, now the second one has a tear and they broke the elastic to keep it around one of the back legs. I think it would work great for other dogs just isn't going to last long for my wrestlers.

I bought this coat for my full sized lab who wears a harness. First of all this coat has a long, twin zippered, opening which allow you to still hook up to a harness or regular leash while wearing the coat.
This coat is warm from the snug fold downable collar to the hind quarters. The coat is actually designed to be a fuller fit around the hind quarters and this allows for the rear muscle groups to be covered and kept warm, not just the center back area. You can even put your dog's rear legs thru elastic straps to keep the rear coat down in high wind. The outer coat material is water resistant and the inner is a warm snuggly liner. My dog wears this is single digit temps and is happy and warm. I recommend this coat to any dog owner looking for a well thought out dog coat. Make sure you get the right coat size. To get the full quarter coverage you need your dog's length and be generous for a fuller fit.

My dog usually fights having a jacket put on him. He actually likes this one"¦even the back leg straps. I ordered the orange color because it would be easily seen. The color is a more muted orange & look great. Easy to put on and take off. The halter isn't built in, but there is an adjustable zipper through which the leash can connect thru to attach to a halter. It is very good looking. My dog weighs 17 lbs and is a terrier mix. Soft and warm inside.

This coat was so soft and light even before I took it out of the plastic package. The inside is very soft, and it is easy to put on my girl. I was concerned when I saw I had to slip it on over her head, but it goes on easy enough, fits good around her chest, and has leg straps to help keep it on her backside. The inside lining is very soft like her blankets. She tried to get the jacket from me as I was taking it off her. She wanted another blanket. There is a large zipper in the back that has 2 zippers so it can easily adjust to her harness for her leash. I'm ordering the purple jacket to go with the harness and leash I just bought my girl. The purple jacket also has a zipper in the neck, which is good if you have a stocky/hearty breed, like a bully breed, like my pittie. I've had to order 3 different jackets to find one that was a good fit for my medium sized stocky pit bull.

The media could not be loaded. The quality of the material seems to be decent but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't last terribly long. (I wouldn't be too upset for the price.) The side toward the dog's skin is furry and the outer shell is water resistant. I like that the coat goes really easily over my dog's neck and then buckles on either side around the waist. It's not complicated to put on, and there are tightening points so it fits better. My video and photo show the coat without the leg straps in use, but you can use them to better secure the coat to your dog, especially on particularly cold days. Your mileage will vary based on your dog's temperament, but mine is very accepting of the leg loops now. The coat's neck is long enough on my dog that I can use it fully extended to protect her more from the snow or rain, or fold it a bit to have a "fashionable" neck line.
