I am not careful with my things..Ive had this bag for a few months now and it has held up very well! the zippers are heavy duty as is the material. The straps/bag shape are a little awkward when wearing it as a crossbody, but are adjustable and you got kinda used to it. The many different storage pocket options are great, recommend!

I bought this as a gift for my 14 year old who has his first girlfriend. (Yes, I am freaking out a bit, thanks for asking.) I realized he needed something a bit less frumpy than a regular backpack to carry things like his cell, money, a note pad, pen, and a drink bottle when he goes places with her. He loves this! The color fade is exactly like the product images. He wears it crossbody. He also wore it on the couple of orientation days at his artsy new magnet highschool. He walked through an abbreviated version of his class schedule with mostly strangers. In one class he chose to sit next to a hugely tall boy, who no one else seemed to want to sit next to (intimidating?), but who he decided was likely a gentle giant, like another buddy of his. The guy struck up a conversation with my son, saying, "Cool backpack." (Yes, when I heard this story, I mentally high-five myself.) It's a good choice. (No idea if it will be durable.)
