The dummy is great for at home bjj training. Its durable! I filled it with 20lbs of foam. Could probably stuff a bit more to make the arms more rigged. Overall, its a great dummy to practice on.

First off, one can never put a price on safety. Great for those seeking (safety 1st ) self defence training especially when in use with young children. The MMA Grappling Mate allows one to execute a variety of ground MMA (self defence) drills with (brute) torque and force whilst developing and fine tuning skills.
My son and his friends train in a safe and harmless manner whilst having fun learning (gentle) Combative Jiu Jitsu.
If you need assistance on how to fill this training aid properly then I suggest watch a few youtube videos for great tips.
The only negative is the zipper. One broke off, fortunately it had two zippers, otherwise it would have required sowing the velcro zipper overlay that protects the zipper from wear and tear and scratching during rolls..

The product is very well made, the material, design, size, it came folded ina bag, you have to get the material to fill it and have to do it considering the weight you want it to have, feet are a bit hard to put the fill ib but once you find out the correct way is easier, I like it and will help to train and improve.

I bought the XL, and it's about 5'10" or so if you flattened it out. For those wondering how much stuffing to use, 10 lbs of polymer stuffing fits perfectly. I bought a $32 box of it at Walmart and it was the exact amount.
It's definitely not the same as training with a real person, but helps get the muscle memory or motion down. Elbow and wrist work is a little weird, but overall, I'm happy with the purchase given the price point.
