My dad is 99 and has been bed bound for about a year. Before we got this pad, it was difficult, almost impossible, to move him around. He's 6 feet tall and big boned.
His caregivers use this pad to adjust his position so that he doesn't get bed sores, and to move him around for changing and bed baths. I just reordered a second pad, so that we can keep a clean pad on his bed at all times. The first one is still in good shape, after almost a year of use and washings.

My mother is bed bound and has to be turned every 2 hours. This pad has been super helpful especially when working alone. I is made of sturdy materials and allows me to turn, reposition and pull my mom up in the bed with ease. I plan to order the smaller one as this one is very large and the handles are far apart.
