I'm 6'3 240lbs and have purchased topcoats from a few other higher end brands like express and banana republic and although those feel more premium to the touch this is the best topcoat in terms of fit. I've repurchased this in almost every color and I get so many compliments you really can't beat it for the price. I use these ones for more casual wear and my banana republic and j crew for more formal wear.

I'm 5'7", 167lbs with an athletic build and broad shoulders. I purchased a small. This jacket aside from the sleeves being a tad bit too long, fit me perfectly. I like my coats slim fitted as I wear them with just dress shirts or sweaters underneath. If you plan to use as an overcoat over a suit, you will need to go up one size. I use this in California and it's perfect for our climate. Not sure if this will work where the weather can be severe.

It's very comfortable and warm.
The XL size is a bit long in the arms for me. I originally tried L, which was almost perfect, but tight around the waist. It's designed for a slim person, so I had to go a size larger.
The outer pockets are nice for keeping your hands warm. There is a pretty large inner pocket at the upper left. Perfect for a very large cell phone.
I like that the material is not stiff, but holds it's shape well. I could wear it right out of the bag it shipped in without needing to flatten out fold creases. Nice.
