I have a jeep Wrangler...I only really needed one gear box but bought a matching set. The gearing in these did not match my other gear box which had a 23 tooth pinion, 2 motors drive the same drive shaft so if you replace only one motor and it's not the same gear ratio as the other motor the rear wheels won't be driven at the same speed, the motors will fight each other & will most likely burn out like the other people that reviewed these. they work fine just make Sure both gear boxes are the same gear ratio
