Whether tech is like my pillow, they rely on blunt force advertising to get their message across. After so many years of seeing an ad for this thing I finally went online and bought one for my wife who vigorously complains that there is no place for her to store her phone while she's driving (presumably, setting it on the passenger seat is not an option). There are many knockoffs on Amazon but because I'm a big believer in whether tech products like their formats I figured I would spend the money and give it a shot. This is Amazon after all, if you don't like it you can always return it. It's a little bit of a pain to get the cops to the right size because they're stuck together. They give you a little key but it doesn't really work that well, one piece of advice"¦ Do not take a flat head screwdriver and try to separate the cups, you run a substantial risk of stabbing yourself in the hand when the Flathead slips off the cup and jambs into your skin. We did it the right way, and she loves it. It makes her happy so I'm happy, it's just as advertised and it's nice heavy plastic so you don't have to worry about breaking or snapping in cold weather or hot weather for that matter. This is designed to work in any vehicle so if you need a phone holder (DO NOT TEXT AND DRIVE!) To charge and hold your phone on your commute to work or wherever I would absolutely recommend this. After all they probably spent $50 million of advertising in the last 10 years to get me to buy one :-)

My husband loves it. It extends height wise and also has several options size wise to accommodate most any sized cup holder your vehicle has. I ended up re-purchasing one to give to my teenage son to encourage him to not hold or look down at his phone while driving

I've had a giant slab of a phone (S22 Ultra) for a year and a half. Every single phone holder I've tried ultimately cannot handle its mass - they break, fall off, wobble, tip, and so on. Last month I changed car insurance companies and now have an app on my phone which measures, among other things, my phone's lateral movement (fast stops). Letting my phone flop around loose in my cup holder wasn't going to cut it anymore. In desperation I ordered this one; I'd always thought the Weather Tech was too pricey. It's absolutely perfect! My giant phone fits great and doesn't budge, even with an Incipio Duo case on it. Only needed to remove one cup to fit my 2019 Honda CRV. Even though I would have preferred the height with two cups removed, the smaller cup didn't fit snugly enough so stayed with the single cup removal. I do know I could have wrapped tape around the smaller cup for a tight fit but really didn't want to mess with that. Bottom line, after all the money I wasted on a slew of inferior products, I wish I'd just bought this thing in the first place. Certainly would have been cheaper overall. My recommendation, bite the bullet and just buy this one first.

I didn't want that sticky stuff on my windshield, nor did I trust the just plain suction cup method, and I didn't want the windshield view impaired. This is the perfect solution! It is so easy to use and if you need to remove it to clean or whatever, well it couldn't be easier! Takes and releases the phone with ease and holds it in place very well.

I needed to position a snow plow control so that my right hand would find it as I drive the truck. This mount, with a piece of plywood to mount the control onto, and it works fine. It'll last longer than the truck will.
