I always used tape growing up and went through a lot of gloves because of the friction between. My son started playing and I was using tape on his sticks, having to replace gloves because of wholes.

This is the 2nd one that I have bought. Did one for my first son's stick and this one for my 2nd son's stick. These create a great grip on the stick and also sets the stick apart making it easier to spot. I used a heat gun to shrink to fit the grip instead of hot water. I just kept the stick moving so I didn't get one spot too hot and it worked perfectly!
