Excellent equipment, high performance, incredible resolution, is super light and mainly make notes on the screen has a sharpness and accuracy quite approximate to reality (although improvable in the future). I had an earlier version of X360 and it shows the improvement in its functionalities. Very good work. The only thing that worries me is that sometimes it heats up a lot. Finally, recently there was a BIOS update that left the machine in perfect condition.

The item was delivered promptly. It was as expected and brand new. Model received was 13-ap0039nr. I believe this is the current model. So far, I've only had it a few hours. Here's a hint, if you're replacing an old pc and want your apps back go to the microsoft store app and open your library in the menu, your apps will be there. Just reinstall. Other than that the specs are as shown. No surprises. HP sealed box inside an amazon box.
UPDATE: after a week it developed a weird problem that neither Amazon nor HP can solve. Amazon is sending a replacement. New computer arrived and was great, until windows update features 1909. The same bugs came back. I found an Amazon tech that was able to roll back this major update. My advise is this is a great laptop. Turn off automatic updates. Windows build 1909 is not ready for HP. The problem reaccured. I was able to solve it by upgrading to Windows ten pro. If you think it's a good PC, maybe it's worth it. Anyway Ive now had it for a couple months and the updates don't bother it. I can only assume Microsoft tests it on Windows Pro before release.

Beautiful piece of technology. I probably shouldn't have gotten the 4k UHD screen, because it eats up the battery. But it fits my usage around the house. Because it is not the latest generation it is missing some advancements, but Microsoft has given me some Windows 10 updates and HP honors the 1 year warranty. The touchpad drivers were defective and would lockup, so I had to restore the OS with the HP support help. I commend them on their response. The problem comes back rarely though.
Great Laptop at good value. Dealer experience was a let down.

1. Ordered a Poseidon Blue model but received Dark Ash Silver color model. Fortunately the configuration was as mentioned. But still if this color is at $10 premium on HP site, feel let down by the dealer.
2. All Spectre models are shipped with a laptop sleeve, BUT I DID NOT RECEIVE IT WITH THIS LAPTOP. Dealer did not deliver the sleeve.
PROs: For Laptop and Amazon.
1. Amazon was kind enough to let me have a sleeve at no cost.
2. Spectre 13 laptop is just as I expected it to be.
3. Light for commute for whole day but capable in all aspects.
4. Performance is good overall.
5. Display is amazing, 4k brightness, clarity and colors are very very good.
6. Battery is pretty good for 4K display (need to check it for HD config).
I was hoping for a new/different color for this 13" laptop (as my Spectre 15" is also a Dark Ash Silver) and the missing original HP sleeve was a let down. Hence the Dealer experience is a let down.
But Amazon has been really good to provide the sleeve at their cost. Thank you AMAZON.
