Used this kit to stamp id numbers onto brass tags. I've stamped around 50 tags so far with the same 3 letters and a number and the letters show no sign of wear. Great kit, container is nice and seems durable. Great value. Just make sure you use a solid background. People who have complained about tags ending up warped or letters being unclear just don't know what they are doing.

I needed a set smaller than my 3/16 and larger than 1/8. After pricing the two USA made names in metal stamps I decided to take a chance on these. I just stamped the entire alphabet around five steel (1018) cylinders - 130 perfect stamps. The last letter came out as clean as the first - not a reject or off-centered letter in the bunch. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.
