Recently purchased for myself and family after seeing them in my friend's house. If the sink stopper isn't tall enough, they won't stay in place. My family member gave it back because it didn't fit her sink properly. Mine is in place but so far no residue to catch. Looks like it is doing what it is supposed to do and is flexible enough to use with the sink stopper. I believe it is worth the try.

These are a great invention! They catch hair really well. My daughters have long hair and are not very careful when they brush it. Now, at least is caught there. I also put one in my bathroom sink. I clean them often with a disinfecting wipe.
