Acorn Stairlifts use batteries with narrow lugs, this battery has the wide lug.

Your product is rated for 9 amp-hours, this is superior to the standard 7 amp-hour rating for the standard battery. After installation the batteries charged up and everything worked. The test is how long these will last - standard life for this type battery is about 3 years (which was slightly exceeded by the standard ones we had before). The problem was that the Acorn Stairlifts (your product is advertised as a direct replacement) use batteries with the narrow lug while the ones you delivered had the wider quarter-inch lug. We solved this problem but it was annoying.
