Looked great. I had this custom designed for my boyfriend for his housewarming present. He hasn't used the decanter yet but we've used the whiskey glasses a few times and the definitely hold liquid. We have just been hand washing them as I feel the "engravement" is really more of a textured sticker that I'm afraid would come off in the dishwasher

It was a nice and reasonably priced gift idea. I was surprised to see that the personalization is NOT laser-engraved as the first description item suggests. It appears to be a glass-like "sand" that is glued onto the glass products (imagine as a child, using Elmer's glue to draw a design and then sprinkle glitter over the glue) in the design of the letters. It is sure to come off after a few cycles in the dishwasher. This was a wedding gift for a client and I'm embarrassed to ask if this has happened to their gift. I have bought this exact kind of gift from Things Remembered and it was perfectly what I was looking for with laser-engraving --this was not it.
