We have a boxer/lab mix that is very energetic. In the car when she sees things sometimes, she gets to barking and won't listen to us telling her to stop. One blast from this horn stops her mid bark and gets her to focus on us and the commands we are giving.

Easy to use and handy to carry. A blast will stop most dogs in their tracks. Unfortunately, you will still need a backup plan for that other 20%.

I usually don't do reviews, but this product has made such a difference in our household. We have seven dogs and that can bring various challenges. Two of those dogs had started to fight a little. That doesn't happen anymore. I've used this twice and now all I have to say is "horn." A hush falls over the place. Also, I can open the door without the dogs rushing it. Again, all I say is "horn." When they won't stop barking, again I say "horn" and they get very quiet. It's very loud but I don't have to use it much. Love this product!

I live in a wooded area and purchased this product about a year ago after seeing coyotes, to use as a deterrent if needed.
