This bowl is beautiful and so practical. I love that I can use it in my instant pot. It is heavy and just the perfect size for so many things. They were two small dots glue in the bottom of the bowl as other reviewers have also mentioned, and, it took some scraping with a razor blade to remove it. Other than that, it is perfect!

Just needed a souffle dish to fit inside my 6-qt instant pot. This fits just right. I wanted a dish not made in China. This was made in Czechoslovakia (known in the past for glassworks). I like the dish and the fact that it is transparent I can see the contents and how my crustless quiche ingredients have settled. One negative issue: The manufacturer used three dollops of glue on the inside bottom of the dish to hold down the information (to be removed before use of course). The glue was terrible. Would not come off with Dawn. Then used Goo Gone and all that did was soften the glue and smear it over a bigger area. Resorted to a razor blade to get the glue off. That should never happen.

I needed it for a soufflé and needed it fast. It arrived quickly. This is a little deeper than other soufflé pans which allows a larger recipe for more people. Glass is a great way to go as you can visually see how close to done the soufflé is and it cleans up nicely. Could be used as a mixing bowl also.
