This design fails with regular intervals of 400-500 hours.

Had a no-start condition with a 2000 GMC Savana 5.7L after a few days of rainy weather. Changed cap with this new one in a few minutes and fired up immediately. Going to purchase another to keep in van just in case! I re-used the oem screws instead of the new ones.
