Yes metallic, not bright though

I do enjoy the metallic color of these markers the only thing is that they're very dark metallics so the one that looks bright pink on the lid is actually like a deep purple the purple is almost black the green is way more silver than green but they are really beautiful and they come in handy when I need something to stand out.

The media could not be loaded. Ok you want a review, I did it. I ordered the Metallic (12 fine .07 & 12 thicker 3.0 matching) and 36 Earth tones colors.i will review both at once. Both arrived safely, fast and packaged well with instructions how to unwrap, shake and burp the pens before loading, I had zero problem with any of them.
I used many fine lined pens and found issues with every kind. The main issue was lack of coverage and caking nibs. So I took a Santorini stone and painted the base for with metallic Arteza metallic bronze paint and DecoArt beige paint for the base. Then I used the new pens over these two colors to test coverage all with one coat. Coverage was equal for coverage over both metallic and matte acrylic. I tested with only one stroke. Colors were vibrant and opaque and didn't find chipping, cracking with the paint and there was no caking on the nib. I was really impressed. Updated: so I attached the video and you can see that the coverage with one stroke covers well. Also they provide extra nibs. One more thing I needed to add is the fantastic support the ARTOOLI Tooli-Art pens. Sunday night I was on the website and remember that I didn't see the EBook that was listed I would get and mentioned it in the comment section of the site.....well poof there was support answering my questions, so cool. I really thing I'm going to enjoy my experience of Tooli-Art pens, give them a try.

Honestly I think they work as good as Posca but at a budget friendly price . I ordered these because I was curious . The first set I ordered was the Earth Tone and Skin set of 36 . That's all it took . Now I am obsessed with getting every set ! I use them in my coloring books . They are opaque enough to cover black lines . I use a color close to what I'm going to color that part . I find my Prisma Colors and Faber Castell Polychromos has no problem laying on top with light layers . I would recommend these to anyone .
