Good cot, but not very comfortable.

I purchased this cot because it seemed long enough that i wouldn't have my feet hanging off the end. I am 6 feet even and weight 230 lbs. The cot does its job, its fairly long but I found it narrow thus not very comfortable. The cot seems sturdy and was able to support my weight. I consider it portable so it might be a good option for camping. When it was delivered there was multiple dents on several legs of the cot, this seems to be a common complaint among people who purchase this thing. One last thing, the "pillow" that comes with the cot is barely that. Bring your own pillow your going to be disappointed if you rely solely on the pillow that comes with the cot.

The first thing that you will notice about this cot is it's weight. It is not light. This is not something that you will want to lug around. It's also a pretty big item. What I loved was the ease to set up. No tools needed. The cot is solid. Now as for comfort, it's not a bed. If you have never slept on a cot, they will never compete with a bed. But you should always look out for any bars going across the bottom of the cot. This will always make you uncomfortable. Fortunately, this cot has no support bars going across so it's as comfortable as any cot can get

I can't imagine hiking with this cot as it is heavy and not the easiest to carry with the single strap on the storage bag. - if it had backpack straps it would be easier to carry. We bought this cot for our daughter to use when we have company and to take to hotels to provide her a bed when roll-aways are not available. Sure beats setting up an air mattress and gets her off the floor. The cot is very firm but comfortable for a cot. We may purchase REDCAMP Closed Cell Foam Camping Sleeping Pad to improve the sleepability. I gave it 4 stars due to my concern with the dents in the material over the middle leg supports - as long as they don't rip the fabric, I think we will enjoy this for many years and it is big enough for most adults.

Purchased for my daughter for camping. Seems super sturdy and is pretty comfortable as far as cots go. It is a bit heavy, but I guess that is a good trade for something that will not fall apart.

This is the only cot I've found that seems extremely well-made for a big guy. It has multiple extra legs and diagonal bars for significant extra strength. You don't have to worry about unsupported spans and freestanding end sections if you're putting extra weight aboard. And this will distribute the weight to more feet and create less wear on your tent floor. I do not feel any uncomfortable cross-bars under the sleeping surface. It sets up super-easy. Just pull it out of the bag, expand it, and set it in place.
