I have always loved wine barrel planters We got a wooden one and it lasted two seasons before falling apart. (It occurs to me now that if I'd lined it with plastic, it might be okay). So I purchased 4 of these heavy plastic ones and I'm really pleased with how they look. The light weight makes them much easier to move around, whether they're full or empty, and at the end of the season, they're easy to rinse out with a hose. The price is good too! Really glad I purchased these.

This is my fifth planter of the large size; these are used for large floral displays. They are sturdy and slow water holes for good drainage. Their size keeps pests out and roots to expand. Not cheap but cost is measured by usefulness.
