Was concerned when I got mine and only 2 of the 10 seemed to work and then seeing the reviews of so many defective ones returned. For me, I found that you need to make sure they are *really* tightened. The O-ring makes them seem closed but it's not necessarily enough. Turned each one another 1/8 turn and they worked fine.

The remote is a little janky, but works!!
If the lights are all close together at least 8 out of ten will come on/off in one shot.. sometimes you can get all 10 to come one in one shot with the remote but most of the time I need to press the on/off button one more time.

This also goes for color/function changing

As for the range its pretty decent, but you must be pointing directly at it or relatively in that direction.

But for 20 bucks for 10 waterproof lights that work via remote with multiple fuctions and colors is pretty great price !! Especially for 2 remotes and for all the lights n remotes to come with batteries!

The light brightness is pretty awesome! N is also dimable! I put them in my salt rock lamps so I do not need to worry about a light bulb going out or where to plug it in !! N they are doing great!!

Fare warning make sure when you put the lights together that you tighten them super good or it will not work lol I thought I had them tight enough but they where still not coming on but others did I kept switching around the batteries n noticed that even tho I think its tight enough if I did one more twist it would pop right on !!

Im giving it 4 stars as im not sure of the battery life yet but im super happy that they all came with working batteries!! N because the remote could use a little fine tuning!

I'm impressed. They all work great and shine brighter than I thought they would for the price. Gonna buy a few more packs...

I have small metal pumpkin luminaries that I usually use tealights in. I bought these to try instead. The white option is surprisingly bright and worked great, much better than we expected. For fun we clicked through the different colors which all looked nice. The remotes worked although you need to be right next to the light. The instructions directed to tighten each puck to turn it on which was a little hard, it requires a bit of strength. One of the lights did not work at all which is why I did not give it 5 stars. I did not have time to replace the batteries to determine if the light is faulty or is the batteries seem to be dead in that one. I haven't tested the lights in water. I look forward to using them somehow when we decorate for xmas. I think I will discover many uses for these little but powerful lights.

Worked for a couple of hours. Replaced batteries and then they would come on in the flashing mode. I turned off and tried to select a color and another color would come on. Turned them off again and all of them started blinking! Had to remove the batteries to get them to stop. Very disappointed
