the eraser on the marker does not work well, but they're very easy to clean just using the sink and a paper towel. Getting the white color to match the fridge makes it easy to hide them when they're not in use.

The small marker that came with these ran out, so I switched to my usual set of Expo markers. Unfortunately, I got fancy and used different colors, only to find that the black marker was the only one I could erase. The other colors all turned out to be permanent, even though they come off fine on my whiteboard. Now if I want to reuse any of those magnets for something else, I'll have to cover them with a label instead of writing directly on them. Otherwise, as long as I use only black, they work fine.

These are a great size I give you plenty of room to write on. I didn't realize when I purchased them that they come with a pen. The pen is not very dark so don't expect a very dark black. You might want to upgrade the pen but at least you don't have to run out and buy one right away.
