Slides great

I definitely like this lighter. I had purchased one before that just didn't seem to work so I decided to try this one. You do have to adjust the cut for around the sewing part of your machine, which was very easy. I keep this on my machine all the time and it works great for doing free motion quilting. I do, however spray it with a dry silicone to make it even slicker. I would definitely recommend this.
Worked nicely for my needs

I was torn over getting the more pricey but better rated supreme slider, or this slider, which has the grid and ruler, and I went with this one because of price and ruler and I am not disappointed. It is a bit longer than I have room under my Pfaff 130, but I didn't cut it because it didn't seem necessary. Sure, it doesn't adhere all the way, but that is not an issue, as under the machine (to the right of the sewing area) I try to limit amount of rolled up quilt sandwich as otherwise it would block the light, so it never got to the point where this imperfect fitment became an issue. I was easily able to align the hole so that I can use the marked lines for any width of seams I am doing, and was also able to extend the lines over the tape I originally used to mark 1/4" for making perfect patchwork seams. And because my sewing machine on an original wooden stand has a hole underneath the work area for a hand to go in to replace bobbin, I never have to take this off, only when I need to clean the bobbin area or oil the machine. Even if it stops being sticky, I think I would still use it by taping it down with masking tape, which would be easy to remove.
Does what it says

I purchased this to help with quilting on my domestic machine. It does help with moving it around. I did have to trim one end off because I don't have a really long extension table. Also, I began to see that the edges where the whole for the needle is was beginning to tear. So I put some packaging tape on the backside of the mat around the entire opening and I think it should last quite a while. I clean the underside with a little Dawn and a Magic Eraser and voila! it's sticky again.
It doesn't stick to textured table

As a glide mat it is great, however the corners do not lay flat.
