I put these in originally for Halloween but I so much like the warm flame look that I'm just going to leave them up all year round. The rest of the neighborhood has white glows I have these beautiful warm flame looking lights that I love. They look more like torches of the old days.

Purchased these for our outdoor home lighting to enhance the Halloween effect and I must say I was impressed. They have a very realistic flame effect and work well in either vertical direction. Many of the competitor bulbs were too wide, these are thinner providing a more realistic flame effect. The lumens output is low, so these are primarily used for the flame effect and not for illuminating an area for brightness. Quality of the bulbs are excellent.. and would recommend to anyone considering purchasing these.

If your looking for a smaller flame-like bulb but still has enough light, this is your bulb. Fits nicely in Christmas blow mold decorations too. I put these in the candle blow molds and they look cool.
