Entry Level - Experienced Piano Players Move Along

The Good: Full size keys, easy to move/set up, basic push button controls on top, so no massive menus to scroll through. Piano sound is acceptable at this price point.
The Bad: Keys are no better than a $100 keyboard. Additional parameters are changed via specific keys but you have to have the "map" in front of you to know which keys to press to make changes.
The Ugly: It's simply not loud enough. If you wanted to play with an acoustic guitar you would have trouble hearing the piano.
Overall: This is probably good for a new player and is fair value for the price. However, I bought this for a 6th year piano student as a practice piano but should have moved up a couple hundred dollars.
Four stars for value but not for anyone above beginner.

A really great full size piano. Plays like a midi keyboard with full sized 88 keys and decent velocity sensitive touch. If you want an acoustic piano feel, you have to step up to the pro version with weighted hammer keys but my kid is a guitar player who needs occasional keyboard. USB midi is nice too as the piano only has basic voices but who really uses all those silly built in ones some keyboards come with.

My fiancée were renting a home that was going through an estate sale, and one of the things left over in the home was an older piano. She had played as a child/teenager, and she started to really enjoy playing the piano every day. We attempted to buy the piano when we moved, but the owner insisted the piano was going to his sister, as it was his parents.
I started shopping for pianos for her to play, but dreaded the cost, the moving of it, and the overall maintenance of tuning it, etc. I started searching for replacement options, tried a couple keyboards to no success (i.e. happy fiancée.). After a bit of research, I stumbled across the "digital piano" options. I have to tell you - if you are looking for an digital replacement for a basic piano - this thing is a winner. It sounds absolutely the same, never has to be tuned, takes up less space, and is overall just amazing.
I'm sure for advanced players out there that there's better alternatives. But, for the cost, this is basically a piano in a box for normal hobbyist players. Don't hesitate, don't try the others, just buy this. The ONLY complaint I have is that the stand that comes with it doesn't easily hold an iPad.

My wife was wanting to learn to play piano so I got her this. My wife found this very easy to use and the keys were soft under her fingers and performed very well. I was also very surprised to see how strong it is! After my wife was done training on this my four children started practicing with it as well! It has truly been a blessing in our home!
