I always wanted one of these as a kid growing up in the early 90's. When I saw this paint spinner on Amazon I decided to nurture my inner child a bit! I really have had so much fun making quick and funky art with this thing. I also brought it into my K-5 special education class last year for a science lesson and the results of their masterpiece artwork did not disappoint!
I didn't give a completely full star review, only because if the button somehow gets pushed in while storing, the battery gets drained, but I learned after the first time to just take the battery out after using it. That fixed the problem.

Fun craft for granddaughter

I bought this to have for craft time at Grandma's, and it works great! My 5 year old granddaughter can squirt the paints very easily with no mess. My 2 year old granddaughter needed a lot of supervision. The splatter Shield does a great job at keeping the mess contained. We've only used it a few times but so far so good. For the price, it will get pitched when it doesn't work anymore, but it's a fun craft that's pretty easy to do.

Liked the spin guard as it is an anti splatter device. Good quality but when taking the paper out, there is no way to remove it without getting paint in your hands.

My 7yo enjoyed making splatter art with it, but I had to help with keeping the spinner in place or it would move everywhere. The guard is nice, but becomes an extreme mess after several rounds. Also the guard gets bent easily, which can cause splatter from the trying to get it to go back onto the spinner.
Make sure you use old clothes for this, because I'm not sure if the paints are clothes friendly. It comes off of hands after several washes with soap, though.
And make sure to invest in more paper, they only give a sample pack amount, which goes quickly.
