I am a restless sleeper, so it log steps while I'm sleeping. I also crochet, so it logs steps while I crochet. Still, I get an average of my activity. A few days ago the Fitbit went black and wouldn't come on. I tried everything I could think of, so I finally found how to contact Fitbit customer service. While they had me on hold I contacted Amazon. I was just under the wire for sending it back which made me feel better, when Fitbit Customer Service came back online. The agent asked me a few questions, gave me some really easy instructions on how to reset it, and we're up and running again! Yea!
As for the person that has trouble with the band and getting it to close, yes, I had trouble too. It just took a little bit of practice and getting used to.

Not sure if this is possible, but after wearing my Fitbit, it seems to have adjusted to my restless sleep and only logs my steps when I make my middle-of-the-night necessity trips. I'm really much happier with Fitbit than I ever expected. It's more of an incentive to move than I anticipated.
I love being able to see my text messages when I'm not near my phone.
As long as I fought getting one, I'm loving it!

I purchased my Fitbit Inspire in 2019, 4 years ago. I have had absolutely NO problems with it. It's very reliable and accurate, and the app works well too. What inspired me to write a review today is that my Fitbit Inspire just went through the washer and dryer on "hot" setting and survived. No change in the display or anything. Good as new. It even counted steps during its time in the laundry.

I read a decent amount of the reviews before buying and was 50/50 on even getting the Inspire based on the negative reviews. But, I went for it anyways. I received the Inspire (regular one) on Sept 27.. 5 days later, still haven't had to charge it. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones? BUT I did disable getting my text notifications since I usually always have my phone in my hand anyways. So could be why the battery doesn't drain. People were complaining about the band leaving rashes and whatnot... my advice, don't wear it so tight then. People complained about how it dims too fast.. look faster? It doesn't take you more than a couple secs to look at your info and keep it moving. If you want to stare at your numbers I suggest you just open the app since it syncs it anyways. People complained about the charger being too short, it aint like you gonna be wearing the tracker while it's charging so who cares. People complained about counting ghost steps, are a few ghost steps here and there gonna kill you? My point is, it's a tracker, it works (at least for me), it's sleek, it's lightweight, i'm happy with it.

So I've waited before posting my review to ensure I was doing those who read reviews justice.

Now after having for about 3 months of doing EVERTYHING IN THIS, IM PLEASED. The cost was reasonable and the quality has been on point so far. I play active sports in this and it has held up greatly. I am not sure if I was to swim in this but I've done so for two entire days. Thereafter I had not seen anything on the screen for two days as well and after charging, it came back and worked like a charm.

This is light and aynca great with my phone. It's not everything that I eat the app tracks but it gets most of it. It alerts for water and when I am inactive for long periods.

I am honestly grateful and pleasantly surprised at the power this thing packs. I have another earlier generation and this actually made understand the full power of having a fitbit!! I'm giving this to all my friends as gifts who're active and wants to track their progress. If you are into fitness or sports or just want to track your workouts etc, Get THIS!!!

My son gave me a Fitbit when they first came out. I was making major changes to my eating and activity level and it was great motivation. I didn't even use all the features but it did show my steps, number of stairs, sleep ranges each night and heart rate. When it wore out I got another and then another...all the same and then that was discontinued to so I get a Fitbit Versa and it was pretty good too but the display is much smaller letters. That didn't last nearly as long as the original and now it's discontinued. This is a tool for me so having to buy each newer style to get the same features but at a much higher price does not makes sense. I have the Inspire and it shows steps and how long I've been horizontal which it thinks means I'm sleeping. The details aren't given with this style so I have to be content to only see basics.
