Screws themselves aren't bad put the heads of them are metric which is kind of a pain. Other than that they are good.

As others have stated these are not 1/4 they are 9/32 or 7mm. Aside from that they seem to self tap well, and tighten up nicely.

These look like great self-tapping screws. However, each one came pre-installed with a small plastic washer, about a 1/8-in thick ( see the photo ) that would not just slide off. It had to be unscrewed. This would add considerable time to my project, so I had to return them. Nowhere in the description or the photos of the product does it show this plastic washer.
