Nice look, no remote. Need batteries.

When i first opened the box I just loved the gold gradient look. Two of the candles weren't as textured as the others, I think the texture gives it a nicer look. The candles do feel like real candles and the faux flame is nicer than some other frameless candles that I have used. These do not dance or wave around. They are just at the end of some black wire but still are nice. I had to hot glue mine into my brass candlesticks so that they stood straight. I wish they came with a remote but overall I'm happy. My hubby thought they were real candles. They use 2 AAA batteries so for 6 candles you will need 12 AAA batteries which you can get at dollar store.

I'm so glad I bought these after having done enough research on most candles on Amazon. These are fantastic. In the photos it does not seem as bright but TRUST ME, in person they are very bright enough with fresh new batteries. I use these to light my room (old word feel and save on electricity) and they are bright enough. A lot of people thought they were real candles haha. I bought rechargeable batteries for these so I only recharge them once every two weeks. The remote control works perfect, it has for flickering or still settings, also has a dimmer when you put it on still. I keep mines on flickering for the real feel and oh boy, these are indeed GREAT. Love em'! Highly recommend.

Easy to set up and the remote is one of the strongest I've ever had. It actually turns two pillar candles on and off as well as the tapers.
Be sure to turn completely off when not in use to preserve battery

Learned the hard way that unless you turn off each individual candle after use at it's base, the battery will continue to run down even when the candle is turned off by the remote. Used mine once or twice for a short period and the next time I went to use them, all the batteries were dead (and they had been brand new Duracell batteries). The candles themselves are the most realistic (though not perfect) that I have found in taper candles. But word to the wise, just use the remote for turning on flame feature - don't use it for on/off purposes - otherwise, you'll spend a fortune in batteries... I still like the candles - just have a better understanding how to get my best value from them now.
