These gloves are one of the best that I have found so far for barbed wire fencing. The only gloves I liked better, are the "Deluth Trading Post, Fence Menders", but those cost $50 + shipping, and don't last any longer.
Handling barbed wire every day, these gloves usually last me about 2-3 weeks. However, sometimes I will get a pair that have bad leather and will rip in the first couple of days... Because of the double layer, they do lack in the area of dexterity... But can grab barbed wire and not feel the barbs, unlike most other gloves.
Over all, they are the best glove that I have found for longevity and budget.
