Fun collectable

I've been fascinated with this ride since my dear old popz dragged me and my sibs to seei it at a drive-in 1977. It's a beautiful piece. Solid, heavy, and gorgeous. It's feels like I've been waiting my whole life this particular piece of coolness.
Now, if I can only gather the gazillion dollars to have a real life working replica made...

I love this model. A favorite film of mine as a kid and I got the opportunity to work with George Barris and a reality show he was part of here in LA. a few years before his passing. He would sit and tell me tales of not only this film but so many other of his projects. I dug out my signed DVD when I record this model and the car n the film isn't nearly as nicely made as this model is! Something George told me about when they got this project and didn't have the proper time to prepare the cars correctly. All of them destroyed in the filmmaking he stated he wishes he had made a 5th .

If you're kid from the 70's crazy for G. Barris cars, and loved made for TV terrors. This is the collectible for you! A high quality creation that captures the very demonic essence of the Hell on Wheels vehicle from 'The Car'.

I have been collecting 1:18 scale model cars my whole life and this is one of my all time favorites! I was searching eBay to add The Car to my collection and the out-of-circulation Ertl versions they were offering (used of course) were going for $150-$200! And we're in fair shape, at best. As that is out of my price range, I decided to check amazon and I'm glad I did. The Auto World version is exactly the same as the Ertl version, and it is brand new, and half the price! The detail is incredible. Chrome rims, lowered roofline, black pearl paint, and most importantly the demonic sunken headlights and grille. Looks exactly like the movie. I love it!
