1ï¸âƒ£ Short and sweet setup >>> Move the almost-invisible switch, on the right of this device, to the ON position. On the ((Samsung s23 Ultra) phone: Settings >> Connections >> tap on the word Bluetooth. Remote: press and hold the ANDROID button, until AB SHUTTER3 appears on screen. Pairing instructions will appear when you tap on AB SHUTTER3. Start to finish is about a minute, if that long. I can also confirm, when I turned the remote off, it remained as a paired Bluetooth device on the s23. Today is July 20th, Thursday. If I encounter any hassles, I'll update. So to wrap up, yeppie, worth your money.
2ï¸âƒ£ FYI: using this with a "Joby PodZilla Medium Kit, Flexible Tripod with GripTight 360 Phone Mount, Phone Tripod" (enter B09HL18NTJ in the search bar). Currently reduced from $45 to $16.50. Replaces my OG Joby. Another fab deal.
3ï¸âƒ£ July 22, "˜23: Wanted to confirm ability to replace coin battery. Yes. But BrainGirl here encountered a first: no amount of fiddling yielded proper re-seating of the battery cap. Probably my bad, hence no star deduction. So, I set up the twin. Learned then that I can kill name duplicates within the Bluetooth listing screen: tap gear wheel following item, rename. See pic. Since wisdom demands a backup when out and about, I'm ordering package #2.
