This jarred sauce is much better than the sauce I have made from scratch. I bought it months ago at a super store at a lower price, but when I tried to buy it again, it wasn't available in any local stores. I bought a case of six because that was the best value on Amazon. I like this sauce because (after water) the main ingredient is ricotta, not cream. It is silky smooth but light and coats the fettuccine perfectly. My guests, who have eaten much restaurant Fettuccine Alfredo. were initially disdainful of a jar sauce, but couldn't get enough once they tried it. The six jars were packaged very well.
