I bought this for my brother-in-law and he loved it. The pieces are small and it can get messy however that seems to be something you can't avoid when little kids get involved. After digging through the sand and finishing the pieces you are left with little dinosaurs and Dino eggs which he loved.

This egg was definitely a lot of fun, my 6 year old son loved it. You follow a little treasure map and it tells you which activity to do in order to discover more dinosaur bones. It's not too messy and the dinosaur you make is actually a pretty decent size, and comes with little mini dinosaurs. The only thing I will say is make sure you wear a mask when doing the fizz volcano, it has a VERY strong chemical smell and my son and I both were taken back by the smell right away. But other than that we really liked it! He wants to get the other eggs to collect all of the dinosaurs.
