Bought this item to cover the outdoor unit of our split system. Cover seems to be fairly sturdy compared to others we viewed. It is for our house in the NH mountains. Based on percieved quality, we assume it is durable and sturdy and will hold up over the coming winter(s). We shall see. One problem we did encounter is that there is a cutout for hoses. Unfortunately, the cutout is on the side and our hoses are in the back, so the cover does not fully cover the entire unit. It could be improved by having a larger cutout area that can be secured with velcro to accomdate various hose locationsdiffeernt

This was the only product I could find that fit the outdoor condenser unit for a two unit mini-split system I had installed. I only use the mini-splits for AC, not heat in the winter so it was necessary to find a cover to fit during winter months. It is lightweight, fits great, and only time will tell on the durability, but it is definitely the right product at the right time.
