This is just as the box describes "CUTE"! I got the blue and I love the color. The size is small, but perfect for our newly turned 3 granddaughter. We tested it out with the attached pick for volume, etc. It actually operates like a real guitar and the sound is fairly low and not shrill or annoying. I don't think her Mom will have to "hide" it from her at any point!

Bought for my 2.5 year old. He likes to play with it but not as much as I expected. The strings are clear fishing line and hardly do much for sound. It came with a pick attached. Very small and lightweight. It's cute but pretty lame.

So this isn't really a guitar I would consider for lessons. It's basically s baby toy. First night he insisted on sleeping with it and pulled the strings out. It was kind of a pain to put them back in (that's why it was 4 stars). If they made that easier would have been 5 for sure. He loves it and it does make some cute noises!!
