My boys loved playing with this ball. I bought this for my youngest son's birthday and they had lots of fun for about a week then the seams came apart and the ball deflated. Since I bought the ball in advance of my sons birthday it broke past the Amazon return date. My son wants a new one but I'm not sure spending another $35 is worth it.

My kids Love playing with this! But, don't count on being able to see it at night. It needs to sit under bright lights for a while for the glow-in-the-dark pieces are visible at night. Not easy to do around the entire ball. And because it is mostly black, it is really hard to see at night.
Also, it shouldn't be used on pavement. The surface feels kind of like a dense foam, and I think it would scratch off pretty quickly if used on pavement for long.

Revised - I bumped this from 1 star to 4 simply b/c my kids love it, and they has a huge factor on things. I wouldnt "train" with this ball but it's fun to do tricks with juggles and curve shots. I still think the ad is a good bit missleading.

I should have read the reviews instead of just buying based on the ad. There's nothing special about the "Using aerodynamic materials and special patent-pending paneling". Since what makes a soft "foam" aerodynamic? I dont see airplanes using this stuff to make them more "aerodynamic".
The ball is just light and doesn't go far at all. It's not really useful for a keeper since no one will ever be shooting a ball that drops in speed this significantly and weighs so little.
Save your money and buy a super light "Franklin" ball from wallyworld and you'll achieve almost the same things. Super disappointed.

My 9 year old soccer fan loves this. I read the bad reviews and wasn't sure whether to buy it but it was high up on his Christmas list so I took the chance and I'm happy I did. My son can get it to curve and played with it all afternoon so that's wonderful. It is already showing signs of considerable wear though (day 1) so not sure how durable it is because of the material it's made from. Have seen them much cheaper elsewhere and if I'd paid the cheaper price I would not care so much about the durability. Considering what I paid I'm not super thrilled with the lack of durability but my son has had a great afternoon with it.
