Looks and works great but the Modes don't match the description.
Darrell D. Mcmillan✓ Verified Purchase•October 20, 2023
First off, this watch winder looks amazing. It arrived in perfect condition and has really nice fit and finish. It's very quiet as well. My only issue is that the times of the Modes don't match the product description. This isn't entirely bad though as I prefer the way it's working to the way they say it should. If the Modes worked as in the description, my watches would be getting 2,880 turns per day (it does 8 turns per minute) in each Mode. Most automatic watches should receive between 650 and 850 turns per day. While most modern automatic watches are designed to handle over-winding, the extra turns per day are still unnecessary wear and tear. For each of the 4 Modes I'm getting:
1 - 4.5 minutes clockwise, 57 minutes rest, repeat
2 - 4.5 minutes counter-clockwise, 57 minutes rest, repeat
3 - 4 minutes clockwise, 26.5 minutes rest, 4 minutes counter-clockwise, 26.5 minutes rest
4 - 6 minutes clockwise, 24.5 minutes rest, 6 minutes counter-clockwise, 24.5 minutes rest (I haven't checked to see if it goes to sleep for 9 hours after cycling through these modes for 3 hours)
I just leave it in the first mode. That gives me 864 turns per day clockwise which doesn't go too far above the 650 recommended for each of my watches. If this unit worked as advertised, I'd be putting it on a digital timer to cut down on over-winding.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the product and I'm glad it's working the way it does. I would recommend it to friends.
Update: I've now had this winder for a couple of years and it's still working great. In fact, I'm getting ready to order another one due to my expanding watch collection. I've never experienced a problem with it and it still runs nice and quiet.

First World Concerns

I'll be the first to admit, there is probably nothing more "bougie" than ordering, then reviewing a watch winder for your automatic watches. Definitely a "want" not a "need" issue. With this disclaimer out of the way, and since I feel like sharing - I have a "thing" for cats, coats, automatic watches and novelty T-shirts that embarrass my kids, in that order.
Here's where the sob story begins - when I want to wear my automatic watches, it is really inconvenient to pull it out of the cabinet and not have it ready to go. Each time I have to set the time and date all over again, which can actually be time consuming based on my specific watch model. Since I don't wear it daily, the automatic movement does not get the arm motion it needs to keep the momentum going for the time and date. Simple fix would be to wear it every day, but I much prefer my much cheap Polar fitness tracker on casual days - especially if I am running, working out or doing something outdoors.
Because my husband also has an automatic watch, we bought this JQueen Watch Winder that fits four watches - that means we have one more slot to expand into - #Squad Goals. A higher end watch winder (Volta, Orbita, Wolf, etc) can cost $500 and up, especially for one that fits 4 watches. So, this price point is much lower compared to the others I've seen, and it actually looks nice as well. More importantly, it does a great job - it is quiet, keeps the watches wound and ready for wear, I don't need more than that.
Here are some additional considerations I think are worth a mention:
- Dual power. This winder can run on both electric power and a battery. The battery compartment (battery not included) is hidden from view.
- Watch winder motor have 3 direction settings (clockwise, counter-clockwise and alternating) and multiple Turns Per Day settings.
- The outside is a highly lacquered wood (piano lacquer, apparently), which is quite lovely.
-The see through case is acrylic, not glass.
-Inside of box does NOT light up.
-Watches are secured with adjustable storage pads. I have very small wrists, making it hard for one of my watches to fit, even when using the smaller pad.
-There are two knobs on the bottom one controls each rotating wheel independently, these feel cheap and are hard to turn.
If you want an inexpensive watch winder that holds more than two watches, and don't care if it is made of solid burl wood from some exotic region, this does the trick. It looks higher end without the price tag

Good winder BUT.....be aware of potential mounting problems
Stuart Amols✓ Verified Purchase•September 23, 2023
Winder has very good choices of settings, especially nice that each platform can have different rotation and frequency. Only complaint is the "pillows" supplied for the watches are way to stiff and firm and as a result don't fit many watches. If your watch isn't just the right size for one of the two choices, it cannot be securely mounted on the pillow. I have several watches with steel bracelets, so they are not adjustable as a strap would be. The watches cannot be mounted.... with just the inner pillow they are way too loose, with the outer ring on the watch is too small, and the pillow does not compress easily for the watches to fit. My previous winder had pillows that easily conformed to a wide range of watch sizes.

I am impressed by the accuracy of (what I would call) the clockworks. And that the speed of the left and right platters are in complete sync.

I recently decided to expand my automatic watch collection, and wanted to have something that would serve as both a display and a winder. This winder from JQUEEN fit the bill. I'm giving it 4 stars because of what other reviewers have said, it revolves too quickly. They really need to make this with more standard settings of 500,750,1000 revolutions as that is what most watches require. Having to buy a timer is not really a good work around. Just make this thing with standard settings like everyone else.
As far as the winder itself goes, it looks far more expensive than it is. No, the display is NOT glass. It's acrylic plastic. Don't know how anyone could mistake that for glass. The finish is a deep red veneer that goes well with our cherry furniture. The watch pads are adjustable, I find that for the size of my wrist, taking off the outer cushion is perfect for my watches. I have an Omega 42mm Planet Ocean, that is about the biggest size watch you could put side by side in one winder without the watches touching, as my watch shifts a little bit as it revolves. I'd recommend putting a smaller watch next to a larger watch, just to be safe.
Overall I'm pleased with this unit. If you have a small watch collection and want to keep them on display and not have to mess with winding them every other day, this does the trick. Just wish they would have made it with a standard number of revolutions. That's really the only thing separating this unit from far more expensive ones.
