Works indoors in simulated rain conditions; have not had to use outdoors yet, 🤞 . I find the sound isn't as rich as with a wooden striker (on slate). Maybe I need more practice. You certainly need to hold it differently. Certainly still glad for my purchase.

This call is beautifully put together. I am a beginner at turkey calls and this call couldn't be easier to use. Included instructions show you how to make yelps, purrs, clucks and cutts. It really is a great sounding call and is very easy to use. In fact my 6 year old was intrigued by it so I was working with him on making some basic call sounds and he was doing quite well with it.
