We got this as a spare for my husbands truck. I personally feel like the installation CAN be difficult depending on your car but its not the worst. Its very lightweight but also feels nice and sturdy. My daughter seems happy and comfortable.

This car seat is PERFECT!!! My daughter hated being in her infant car seat, she would scream and cry not matter how long we were in the car, so we started looking for other seats for her. I narrowed it down to 2 and kept coming back to this one, SO GLAD I DID!! She loves being in the car now! She dances to the music and laughs and has a great time. It's substantially more comfortable than her last car seat and it is super user friendly. You can adjust the headrest with one hand, you can take the pads and cover off to wash them when they get dirty, the cup holders can be washed in the dishwasher, it's really just the perfect convertible car seat for the price. It's also more comfortable than the Graco and evenflo car seats at similar price points.
Just buy it!!!

I have 2 of these in my Audi a4 sedan. They match really nicely with the interior. But more importantly they are spacious enough for me to adjust my seat comfortably im 5'8 alittle fluffy. Now for my kids. They say it is the most comfy seat they have and our other car seats are forever car seats by a competitor. The cup holder design is great because now my kids can't lose them like the did with the others. The draw back is the rear facing latch system it's a cheap strap with 2 hooks it leaves a lot to be desired but it is still safe and functional and had the car seat safety person at the fire department check them out. they are easy to install. And secure. Another big plus is that these are considerably lighter than the bigger brands out there and makes it less of a workout to get them in and out of the car. They are also easy to adjust. Another big win for me in a car seat. All around I love these car seats. Hopefully I won't need to but if I ever had to get new ones I'd defintely buy these again.

We own an expensive Nuna as our daily car seat. We love that seat with the exception of the weight. I was dreading taking it along on our most recent trip. We did have a need for a second car seat for our other car. I thought this might be an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. Received this next day and gave it a good once over. The fit and finish is not on the same level as the Nuna, but I didn't expect it to be. It is a very nice car seat and has many features that make it convenient such as, extended rear facing, recline adjustment, soft material, infant insert, and attached anchor strap. The weight was amazing. It made travel so much easier. I just threw it into a generic car seat backpack bag and made it through the airport with ease. We have a lot of travel coming up and I'm so happy we have this seat.

We didn't have any issues getting the seat to sit level like some other reviewers had mentioned. The instruction book does state to use a rolled towel if you have this issue. I did have some difficulty getting the seat secured tightly with the anchor straps. I ended up using both anchor strap and the seat belt to ensure the seat didn't move more than 1 inch.

I would recommend this car seat if you travel a lot and are in the rear facing season with your child.

Pros: it's comfy with a lot of padding, definitely big enough to grow into.

Cons: it failed my newborns hospital test so we had to go buy another for a month just to get out of the hospital. Looking back, there is no way a brand new baby should be in this beast. This thing is HUGE. I have an expedition and facing backwards, it only fits in the middle seat. Once installed, you never want to move it again. So it's strenuous getting your 20 pound baby in and out. Lastly, the baby extra head support is flimsy. So my baby's head started to flop to the side (potentially constraining the esophagus) so I have to order something to supplement.

It's easier to find cons. It's really a nice chair. I just don't know how I am going to manage my babies leg room until he is 2 since he has to be backward facing until then. Looking back, as good of a seat as this is, I'd probably spend the extra money for separate transitional seats for each age.
