I'm 5'8 and the length was good for a funeral. The material is thick enough to not be see through but thin enough to be breathable and comfortable. It's very flattering and feels/looks more expensive than an Amazon dress. I bought a couple dresses to make sure I had something suitable for an unexpected funeral and this won in every way.
