this is my second purchase from firmoo here on amazon and these are even better than my first pair! the quality of these glasses is amazing, especially for the price.

the packaging of this pair was a little different than my first purchase"”they did not come with their own case, but instead inside a sliding box made of sturdeir cardboard, which i guess can double as a case! they aslso came with a kit to repair the glasses and replace the nose pads if they ever fell off or broke. i especially love that they came with the little fixing kit because as nice as the glasses are, they ARE only $30 and cheaper glasses tend to break easier, so it gives some peace of mind knowing if they do break, i'll have the necessary items to fix them without going to the store.

holding these glasses against something that's white you can clearly see that what you're looking at looks slightly "yellow", which is good! that means the lenses are in fact filtering blue light. when you wear the glasses, the world is enveloped in a subtle warm tone, which is actually extremely pleasant on the eyes. it isn't yellow, it isn't ugly, and it doesn't affect the way you see colors"”which is HUGE to me as i'm a graphic designer.

speaking of my job: i sit on a computer ALL. DAY. designing magazines. then i go home, and look at my phone. if you're like me, you're staring at screens constantly. i actually turned night shift on on my devices to mitigate blue light, and wearing these glasses doesn't make that already tinted device any more tinted. you honestly can't even tell you're wearing the glasses.

i wear contacts daily and when i wear these glasses, i notice they don't dry out like they used to. i feel way less tired when i leave work for the day and they're also extremely useful to have when you're driving and realize you forgot sunglasses. no, they don't protect your eyes like sunglasses do, but they do filter out light and make it a bit easier to see"”i tend to notice i squint a little less if i wear them while driving. i haven't done this yet, but i hear wearing them to drive at night helps a ton, too!

the build is great for the price. the frame is metal so it feels more fragile, but that's just a given with metal frame glasses. the nose pads are loose, but i have other glasses with loose nose pads and they don't bother me. they make a tiny clinking sound which makes them SEEM lower quality but truly, i don't think they are. overall, the frame is solid and they feel sturdy.

i'd 100% recommend these and even want to buy myself a second pair, just cuz!

Over the years I've purchased 40 or more sets of progressive reader style glasses. I've often purchased them at Costco and paid something like $30 for three sets of glasses. But these have always been the rimless glasses and inevitably in 3 - 4 months, the lens pops out and from there in short order the glasses can't be repaired to a usable state.

I thought I'd give these rimmed glasses a try. They are nice enough looking. I've had them just for a week or so and they seem reasonably sturdy. I purchased 3.0 magnification lenses but to be honest, buying any magnification lens that isn't prescription is always a crap shoot. As it turns out these aren't the same as my most recent purchases. I'm using them, but I have to still squint a bit to focus on smaller text. I think at this point my next purchase will be after a proper eye exam that will assure a proper prescription.

Although these are advertised as "reading glasses," they are not prescription. The lenses magnify the image, but if you actually need reading glasses these will not work, for the text will be blurry for most people. Still, they have a really nice frame, which is why I bought them. I will have my optometrist replace the lenses with my prescription. Frames like these can easily cost a hundred dollars or more, so this is a good deal for the frames. Unfortunately, the temple only comes in one size, so if are a big person in need, say, a 148 or 150 temple, this won't fit perfectly. I found, however, that I could easily straighten the ends of the the temples so that they fit just fine.

They look pretty nice mostly just for social events But the tracking was all over the place
