I bought this for the value, the rack's mounting surface and the positive reviews (gotta take everything with a grain of salt). My trailer has 2.5" box tubing that makes it different from pipe tubing and angle iron (I know, duh). I wanted additional support once I installed it. Holes on the trimmer rack are capable of using bolts up to 3/8" or 10mm in diameter. So, I elected to have 2 stainless plates made to mount to the bottom of the square tubing for additional support. I drilled 1/2" holes in the trailer tubing so the plate and rack holes would be easier to mount and align . In my case (yours may be different depending on your application), I used 3/8" x 3.5" long shoulder bolds with fender washers and nylon lock nuts. I had to grinded bout 1/8" off the washer so the bolts holes would install without contacting the trimmer rack vertical post (bend up). Overall, this has given it the support I anticipated as I get very little movement with my equipment mounted. This rack is still relatively new and I check the tightness of my bolts/nuts as well as check for movement while driving down the road. Overall, I believe I got more than what I paid for.

The only drawback that I have at this point with this kit is the locks. The key needs to be inserted, turned 180° to unlock and the key cannot be removed when the lock is open until the lock is returned to closed position. Recommendations are either to buy new locks or use carabineers if you don't need your equipment locked up while on a project site.

Works as it should and with locks included if the trimmers come up missing they earned them LOL!!!!

Just installed today, very easy install. Works well so far. Down side mounting bolts was little short for my trailer, respect w longer 5/16 bolts. Not to crazy about locks that came w rack, but that's okay can get some locks locally.

I love it it works really good!
