Edit: Bark/Seller actually reached out to me without me having to ask and gave us a full refund for our fluke non squeak Consuela. Also wanted to add yes it was a bummer ours didn't squeak however she held up pretty well!! And even more fun with all the layers she had on her!

We usually get Bark toys at Target and they're usually fun, hold up well and hours of fun. I ordered for the first time on Amazon, to get more of a selection. Sort of disappointed, our Consuela the Cactus does squeak, and she's pretty tiny for the size "Large". I should've paid more attention to the sizes listed. I just assumed "Large" would be large lol.

I have an elderly deaf dog who doesn't like toys, doesn't like to chew, and has missing teeth and a weak bite. But, she needs more brain stimulation and toys are such a great enrichment option the vet said we should try anyway.

I choose this toy because it was cheap and cute and looked like a safe choice. I like this toy because it feels nice and crackly to squeeze and sensations like that are important to deaf dogs that don't get any benefit from a squeaker.

She played with this for five minutes when we first got it, including a very brief game of super gentle tug of war (she won), and threw it around and it was the cutest dang thing I've ever seen in my life.

She hasn't touched it or even sniffed it since. I'm keeping it in her bed so it smells like her and giving it time, as per our vet's advice. If she continues to ignore it, I'll remove the first layer to make it a smaller toy that may be more comfortable for her to bite.

Rated five stars for excellent, thoughtful dog toy creation and for being the only non-food toy (and we've tried a lot!) she's played with in the two years we've had her. Even if it was super short, it was an absolutely magical experience! Every toy she gets from now on, I'm filming.

Before Conseula, I bought my dog (GSD, ~2yrs, 60lbs) 4 soft chew toys. Not one lasted more than a day maybe two. I really don't like the leather chew toys just because they don't feel fun to squeeze. I was just about to resign to getting my girl a new toy every week when I found this one.

We're going strong on a month with this one. It's her absolute favorite. Her immediate go to when she wants to play. But I gotta say I was really looking forward to seeing her go through each layer. She hasn't even gotten the first one off! It's too strong! It's possible the place she got her first tear in was structurally the best for it to last but still.

Definitely plan on getting another one like it. Maybe Penny the Pineapple.

So fun and durable even for a rip apart toy. Keeps my lab puppy entertained for a long time.

This is legitimately the best toy I have ever bought for my pup. Typically his toys are destroyed day one. Not this! We have had it for over 2 months and he has not even gotten through one layer. The material is thick, the stitching is tight and it is wonderful quality. Barkbox please make different styles of this exact toy! We want more!!! :)
