I trusted the brand and the description that this scooter was lightweight, but after comparing it to the better scooters at the park, it's almost twice as heavy as the true lightweight scooters. It's well built, and we'll use it until the weight becomes a problem, but I wish I would have compared the real weights of this and other scooters and not just relied on the description.
