A cool gift. Worked right out of the very sturdy packing after installing the batteries (not provided). There is a large button on top that you press to make the pump work. Be careful how you insert the telescoping tube into the pump. Don't break the plastic connector or all is lost!

We've run through a few different cheaper ones with plastic tubes and have had problems. With this one it performs great and is quiet when running. I like that it's a stainless steel straw and spout. The best thing is that it doesn't drip, every other one that we've had drips. This is my go to aerator, I'd recommend getting this.
