DO NOT BUY IF YOU'RE A WIRED HEADSET PLAYER THAT USES THE MIC!!! Due to it's headset jack, if you plug and play with a wired headset and hop on the mic, NO ONE will understand you & if they do expect someone to make a comment on how horrible your mic sounds. THERE IS NO FIX FOR THIS. It's obvious that these dirty frenchies knew darn well that their product was faulty but could careless about the customer & sell all the models they had in stock then quietly discontinue the product with no apology to those affected. BUT, other then that, she's a beauty & a great pro controller... just needs some getting used to due to different feel & of course the XBOX STYLE joystick positions.
Welp, I hope this helps someone and they don't make the same mistake as me & then forced to fork out another $100 to buy a wireless headset JUST to be coherent in game chat...they won't let me return it even though it says 2-year return policy on the damn box!!..complete dirt bags in my option.

I just recieved this controller yesterday... Right out of the box, the quality is very high compared to a standard dual shock. I play almost exclusively FPS shooters like COD, Destiny, Doom, etc. Having only ever used a scuf impact (until it crapped out after 2 years) and dual shock, the xbox layout is very strange at first. I'm a very casual player, but my typical K/D of 1 in Modern Warfare dropped to .5ish for the first few matches with this controller. The joysticks are extremely "loose" and sensitive, so my aim was all over the place. After tweaking the software (more on that later), I was able to adjust the sensitivity to get a better feel. However, the sticks are just too sensitive in general. It's fine for the left stick, but aiming can be tricky and will definitely require some adjustment. I have fairly large hands and the top back buttons are easily accessible. The bottom two are a bit more awkward. As for the software, I ended up watching a couple tutorials on youtube, and it is very easy to use once you have some basic instruction. I think the issue people are having is the 4 stock preset profiles cannot be edited. You can look at them for reference, but need to create a custom profile to access all the features as intended. Otherwise, the preloaded profiles are locked... The interchangeable joystick tops are just hard plastic. They are legitimately garbage compared to standard sony sticks. I was able to fit xbox kontrol freaks on the concave tops for a better feel, but they will not squeeze on the domed tops at all. Be prepared to put immediate dents in either plastic top as well. Also, when removing the left top, the entire joystick module pops up into a stuck position. Not a big deal, as I just push it back down with no issue, but it happens every single time. The right module stays in place as it should when removing the top. This could definitely be a sign of poor longevity. Overall, this seems like a very cool controller, with the most customization available. For example, you can map any of the back buttons for L3 to sprint, and it will actually act as a proper L3. This means you don't have to push down on your actual L3 and can just use it the stick directionally. This could probably lengthen the life of the module. I definitely dig this as an all around controller for all kinds of games. That being said, I just ordered a Battle Beaver Custom with Extreme tension in the right joy stick and digital tap triggers to use exclusively for shooters. I'll probably get it in 3 months or so!

I want to give a stellar review as its holding up great so far and has the 4 buttons underneath that I need to be able to enjoy most games due to my disability. So on the 4 paddles with offset sticks thank you guys so much.

Now for the I'd like to see improved. Accessibility wise the buttons could be a bit bigger. Mostly the top edge of both buttons needs a little something and maybe a touch of separation 1/64th ¹/32 maybe just needs enough to break them up and give a little finger rest for smaller hands. This would hopefully open up the controller a bit and allow for more than one hand position.

Turning the ps4 on would be nice but ill take the wireless audio instead personally. How can we not do Bluetooth audio yet? Sony????? COUGH COUGH!

I'm not sure if this is due to not hooking it to a pc yet but seems the basic ps4 profile is the only one that can be programmed on the fly. Why? I hate them with a passion due to the treatment but that was the one thing scuf got right. Put into program mode for that profile hold down the button to program press what you want bound and change back to normal mode. Love the visual indicator for the buttons, though idk which is which yet, but either a phone app or on controller remapping would be appreciated.

Last bit is the thumbsticks and the height thing that all the reviews bring up. Eh you game me enough thah is also solidly built im ok. But I do want better options for tops little more domed little more rubber gripping all over really.

I like the Xbox feel and the customizable buttons and sensitivity works well with Modern Warfare. Cons include the joystick too well fall off if you grip your controller too hard like me, the cover on the handle slide off at times probably also due to my grip when squeezing too hard trying not to die in COD, and the software wasn't dummy proof it took me a minute to figure out. This is probably because the company is french and the software does not come with the controller. If you want to use the extra buttons like me it will force your grip to be slightly longer than a normal xbox controller which was uncomfortable for the first few hours after that I had a harder time going back to a regular PS4 controller. Smaller handed people like me may have a difficult time using, mine are very small for a fully grown man so keep that in mind. The spacers that lengthen or shorten the joy sticks are cool and can help accuracy too. Last but not least the FSP shooter preset is more than adequate to give you the edge in COD. By changing the button assignments to enable an 8 finger grip so you don't have to move fingers off any button in order to aim, run, throw, melee, slide etc. It will give you the form the pro gamers use with 400 dollar controllers. It's a great beginner controller for competitive FSP gaming. The price is affordable, highly customizable both ergonomically and functionally, it is both wired and wireless for software and use, has 4 profile slots that so you can switch between settings you line for different games like shorter and driving. It gives a lot more control over your gaming and wireless battery life was never a problem for me with 3-4 hour sessions and then using again without charging. I think wired is faster but I'm superstitious that way. Has a cool carrying case you cam use for accessories or your toothbrush and razor which is the reason I don't have a picture of it cause it's lost. Happy gaming.
