I bought this back in May 2021 as a travel bed for my toddler. It was easy to inflate and set up, and our child really liked it (and was disappointed when we returned home and he was told he couldn't use his "boat" since he had his regular bed).

Two years and numerous trips later, we realized the inner mattress was flat only after a night's sleep, when we used to get a few nights before having to re-inflate. While this was disappointing, we figured this was due to our rambunctious child, rather than a product defect. We had no issues with the inflatable bumper and electric pump.

I emailed the manufacturer to ask about ordering a new inner mattress, since I didn't see a listing for just the inner mattress on Amazon or on the manufacturer's website. A customer service representative replied within hours of my original message, and let me know that they could send a replacement mattress free of charge, which I was not expecting two years after I originally purchased the product. The replacement mattress arrived in just a few days.

I would have been satisfied enough with the product given the use we got out of it the first two years, but the excellent customer service is what makes this product noteworthy.

This toddler inflatable bed is being used by our second grandchild. I bought this in 2018 and used it frequently for sleepovers and travel. It is easy to inflate and deflate with included pump. After using it for 5 years, it developed a slow leak so that at the end of nap time it was pretty flat. I thought I would have to buy a new one until I realized it had a lifetime guarantee. I contacted Hiccapop and within an hour I got a response. I was told what I had to do to get a replacement (take a picture of the hole) Once I submitted that, I was told a replacement was on the way. Wow! their customer service is the best, all companies should strive to be like them. I would not hesitate to buy anything this company sells.

Overall, I really like this bed - my toddler likes sleeping in it when we're away from home, which is amazing.

The quality of the material is great and I like the design of the mattress fitting inside the larger piece with bumpers. I also love that a standard crib sheet fits on the mattress. It's a little heavy but for the quality I think it's reasonable.

The only feedback I have is that the pump is very loud and whistles when inflating and that it's hard to fold back into the small bag (that's more on me than the design!)

Overall I would definitely recommend this if traveling with a toddler. It's a safe and convenient travel sleep solution.

We bought this bed initially to travel with for our daughter; however, we ended up using it for her to sleep in during naptime. She will be two in November, and she absolutely loves it. We do not have concerns with her falling out of it and she loves to play on it and run and jump on it. We bought another one to keep at my husband's parent's house back east so we don't have to travel with it, and it was nice for her to nap in the same place she does at home. We had one issue where after 9 months, the insert bed portion (inside the safety rails) wouldn't hold air. We couldn't find a hole, and it was a slow leak. We contacted customer service and they responded within 1 hour of my sending them an email and the next business day provided a tracking number for a replacement insert. They were friendly and helpful and just wonderful. We love this product! I also have the pregnancy wedge and love it as well!

When we received the mattress, the first order of business was to inflate it to make sure there were no holes, and to see it in action. When unboxing, everything was in the box, the mattress, base, pump, and patches. We aired up the base, took maybe 7-10 minutes with the pump. It was great. It had side bumper walls, it wasn't to tall, and looked friendly for a toddler. We then proceeded to air up the mattress, which is where we hit a snag.
The valves are one way/two way valves. The small inflatable hole where the air pump goes is one way, but then to deflate, you pop out the big plug to air it out and fold it up (which is very convenient since you can get ALL the air out of it).
When applying the air pump, the mattress was not airing up. I knew a bit about one way valves, so I took a look at the gasket and cleaned it off with a baby wipe, and attempted again with no luck. I ended up removing the large two way plug (deflater plug), and put the large adapter on the air pump just to blow it up and make sure there were no pin sized holes, and there weren't.
Because of this issue, instead of returning it to Amazon, I called Hiccapop customer service which number was provided on their little welcome card, to be send to a voicemail to leave a VM describing the issue and a number and someone to call back. At this point, I had my doubts because that line is used way to many times to never be contacted back. I was contacted back within 10 minutes. (Very happy)!!
I explained the issue over the phone. The young lady assisted me with cleaning it again, and ended up advising that if it doesn't work, the cleaning of it, and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of filling it up through the deflating hole and then try to plug it before to much air got out, just to reply back to an email that she had sent while on the call, and they would replace the item.
We used it the first night, and I couldn't get it blown up all the way, and our little one didn't enjoy the deflated mattress to much, so I replied back to the email and asked if they could send me a replacement valve. They replied back saying they could not replace individual parts and to just take a picture of the affected area and they would send me a new product.
I guess I didn't want to fully comprehend what that meant, since all I needed was a $.30 rubber valve piece to replace, but instead, I received a brand new mattress.
Needless to say we are absolutely thrilled with the type of customer service provided by Hiccapop. Not only is the product WELL WORTH every penny, butt he fact that I was contacted back within 10 minutes, and a while new mattress was sent to replace the one that wouldn';t blow up because of a $.30 valve...Just awesome!
As our second little gets older, once she gets out of a crib, we will be getting her a Hiccapop as well. Will continue to promote this company as I've never dealt with another quite like them.
