It Works Perfectly Everytime

Works perfectly. I'm running a 10/53, 12 speed cassette and a 50 single up front. It's fabulous.
I'm a true believer!

Believe me, you'll never want to go back to cable shifting again once you use this. Every shift happens every time, no hesitation, no excuses, no half shifts, it just happens. EVERY. TIME. The ergonomics of the new shifter will indeed need getting used to. It's very different and you'll likely end up reversing the functions once or twice until you rewire your brain and muscle memory. It took me 4-5 rides to really get comfortable but once you do, you'll never want to shift any other way again.
Be sure to adjust the trim once you install and pay attention to the limit screws. You really have to dial it in and take your time but after that, forget it. The shifts will happen every time exactly as you want them. I have it set to multishift 3 gears up and down and bought an extra battery to have as a back up in case I forget it on the charger at home. That way I always have one in the car, just in case. However, I rode 3x a week for 3 weeks for an average of 7-8 miles on each ride before the light turned red. It likely still had a few hours left. Can't say enough about this. I love it!
