Tasty! Great to be able to have a tuna salad again!

Ignore the negative comments, those are either people that aren't creative with their food or picky eaters! (No offense, lol) I haven't been able to eat tuna for years (allergies) and then becoming a vegetarian, tuna for sure was out of the question! With this product I added Mayo(or vegan Mayo),garlic powder, onion(or onion powder), salt and pepper and BOOM tuna salad is back again! Add it to a sandwich or eat alone! The TEXTURE is even a lot like tuna fish. This is the closest vegan tuna that I've had that mocks real tuna the most. 5/5, recommend! Buy it! ðŸŸ
Good Catch Rules!

I am an old vegan..long term vegan... and the animal product I have missed the most has been tuna...this product is by far the best I have tried...have not tasted real tuna for 10 years...thank goodness...have not eaten pigs, cows or chickens for over 30.....this product mixed with fat free vegan mayonnaise is incredibly close...add some onions and celery and enjoy..and congratulate yourself on not eating a red blooded threatened apex sea predator ...when one first becomes vegan and you are trying various meat analogues..you are too close in terms of memory to the actual taste of that animal...give time time..my taste buds have "forgotten" the exact taste of tuna...and this is close enough...I appreciate these boys creating this product...its low in fat, high in protein and its vegan...I have to remind myself why I chose veganism...and remind myself that choosing veganism is a moral choice and a moral act...and somewhere a beautiful giant tuna is swimming free and I am not strip mining the seas...persist...it will get better...and there are lots of other faux tuna recipes out there involving chick peas...etc...I for one am thrilled with this product...close enough for me...
Heck yeah

Full disclosure: I originally bought this because I thought it would be so bad that it would make a funny story, but it instead has become a weekly grocery staple.
If you"˜re thinking about going vegan and desperately want 100% tastes-just-like-the-real thing replacements for your favorite foods, you're going to have a real bad time. Apart from an expertly prepared impossible burger and some ice creams varieties, nothing is going to be a perfect replacement.
Good Catch Tuna falls right into the "this is as good as it can possibly be" territory. I love this stuff. So much so that I eat it right out of the bag or mix with a little Just Mayo and some Violife colby jack shreds and squish it between some bread for a quick sandwich. It does the trick, hits the spot, and I'm surprised how good it is every time.
To suddenly have super high expectations for something pretending to be fish that comes out of a can is hilarious. Check yourself, see if you like eating this outside the context of the canned tuna you've had before, and enjoy it. I can't get enough of it, and I always add one or two to my grocery order every time.

This is simply a tuna alternative not meant to taste exactly like the deadly stuff!

Okay, so does this taste like tuna......Kinda. Remember that its the flavor in food that we love. Don't expect to like this product after just adding a pinch of salt and pepper. I add vegan mayo, noire (for the fish taste), onions, tomatoes and old bay seasoning to mine and it tastes similar to the real thing (oooooh especially if you eat it with crackers or bread)! Its not like that salty unhealthy taste that actual tuna has. its like a healthier version. As someone who hasn't eaten fish in 3 years...I so grateful this product exists!
